Guter Helm mit Schwächen
Der Quantic ist wohl einer der komfortabelsten Helme der Wert, wenn man die richtige Kopfform hat und er wirklich passt. Dann will man keinen anderen mehr. Er ist sehr kompakt gehalten, lässt sich durch verschieden dicke Polster gut an die eigene Gesichtsform anpassen und hat die ARAI-typische, runde Form. Ob diese im Fall der Fälle wirklich was bringt, will ich gar nicht herausfinden. Optisch jedenfalls Geschmackssache. Die Belüftung ist gut, jedoch bei weitem nicht so überragend, wie die Werbung suggeriert. Das Gleiche gilt für die Lautstärke. Bei Geschwindigkeiten jenseits der 80km/h ist er das Gegenteil von Leise, wie es in der Beschreibung angepriesen wird und deutlich lauter als bspw. ein Schuberth SR2 Supersporthelm. Ohne Ohrstöpsel nicht auf lange Distanzen zu ertragen. Das mag der Konstruktion der Visiermechanik mit ihren aufgesetzten Abdeckungen geschuldet sein, ist für einen Tourenhelm aber ein no-go. Ebenso der sehr straffe Kinnriemen, dessen Polster nur ganz an den Seiten vorhanden sind. Je nach Einstellung schneidet dieser dann auch gern mal etwas ein bzw. wird auf längeren Fahrten unangenehm.
Alles in allem ein guter Helm, der aufgrund des Markenimages (handmade, etc...) aber auch einen stolzen Preis hat, welcher meiner Meinung nach zu hoch ist, wenn man es auf die o.g. Punkte im Alltag herunterbricht.
