Obwohl der Name zugegebenermaßen etwas enigmatisch erscheint, muss man nicht Alan Turing sein, um ihn zu entschlüsseln: VF steht für „Vintage Fit“, also einen im Vergleich zur MA-1 etwas näher am Körper liegenden Schnitt. Die Ziffern 59 weisen auf das Jahr 1959 hin, in dem die ursprüngliche MA-1 herausgebracht wurde. Die VF 59 ist also die perfekte Wahl für jeden, der zwar Fliegerblousons mag, sich aber an der regulären Passform stößt. Die VF 59 ist nicht so massig wie ihre Vorlage und damit ideal für einen glatten Look. Natürlich ist auch dieses Modell aus unserem robusten Flight Nylon gemacht. Auch die Wattierung und das Innenfutter entsprechen der heutigen MA-1. Unser Tipp für Profis: Man sollte die MA-1 VF 59 Jacke unbedingt mit einem klassischen Boxerhaarschnitt und einer draufgängerischen Attitüde kombinieren.
